Jingle the bells and call all the reindeer! Santa will stop by your place early this year when you get on BBBS’ Good List and participate in SantaCon 2020 benefitting BBBS. In order to keep everyone safe, this year’s SantaCon is an in-home event!
Santa wants to stop the spread of COVID-19, so this year, instead of holding our customary Rainey Street celebration, we’re doing the next best thing – providing a party at home! Make spirits bright this holiday season with the purchase of a SantaCon Party Pack, and you can still have a great time while raising money to help at-risk kids get the mentors they need and deserve.
“Celebrating the season while helping a child, what’s not to love about that!?” said Lauren Portley, VP of Development at BBBS. “SantaCon’s focus hasn’t changed. It’s been a tough year, and kids need mentors more than ever. You can still make a difference in the life of a child by having a SantaCon party, only this year rather than gathering with a large crowd, the fun will be delivered directly to you.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters’ BIG Impact Group (B.I.G.) has played an important role in assisting with the coordination of BBBS’ SantaCon event since its inception. The group is made up of Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and other volunteers who want to help BBBS. The group’s purpose is to support BBBS by engaging Bigs, recruiting volunteers, and raising funds. The B.I.G. is a diverse group of dedicated men and women who volunteer their time, talents, energy, and enthusiasm to support BBBS of Central Texas’ mission, and further the agency’s programs and impact.
