Creating Bigger Futures: Dajuan and Joel

Dajuan dreams of being a pro football player and an entrepreneur.

He wants to attend The University of Texas and then play football in the NFL.

Getting a good education is important to him because he has a secondary goal of being an entrepreneur after he completes his football career.

His Big Brother, Joel, has helped him form a solid game plan for the future and, with the help of his Big Brother, he is thinking long-term and taking concrete steps toward his goals.

Dajuan has been attending football camps since he was six and the smallest player on the field; even winning awards for his prowess. Now 15, he’s dreamed about being a pro football player all these years, and he has the talent to succeed.

Joel has supported his goals by talking with him about his dreams, taking him to sports camps every year, taking him to UT games, and encouraging him to excel in school in order to expand his options in life. Dajuan has taken his Big Brother’s advice seriously and he is pursuing his education and his football career one step at a time.
